1. Notes of the meetings of 15 May/09 October 2015 and matters arising - The accuracy of the notes of the meeting of 15 May was agreed. There were no matters arising. There were no recorded notes of the Joint Networks Meeting in Birmingham on 09 October.
2. Neighbourhood Planning DCLG Update - Jenny Frew - Jenny presented the annual picture from DCLG regarding progress in neighbourhood planning. The statistics show the extent of the spread of neighbourhood planning across the country. The numbers of new houses being allocated through neighbourhood planning shows an encouraging increase. This is important to the Government's key policy drive to boost significantly the supply of housing. Jenny also drew attention to the proposed changes in the Housing & Planning Bill with regard to neighbourhood planning.
3. Practical experience of neighbourhood planning in Milton Keynes - Diane Webber - Diane was able to provide POS colleagues with an update with regard to experience of neighbourhood planning in Milton Keynes. Colleagues recalled how active communities in Milton Keynes had been in progressing neighbourhood plans - from Diane's presentation in 2014 at LGA House. 19 neighbourhood plans in total, with 4 having passed referenda. Central Milton Keynes is the first business neighbourhood plan in the country.
