Liaison with LGA Caroline Green joined the meeting to outline the latest work on planning being undertaken by the LGA. The LGA had decided to attempt, once again, to persuade the government to reconsider allowing authorities to set local planning application fees which would more accurately reflect the cost of dealing with applications. The LGA's view was that local fee setting could be demonstrated as having a positive impact on the growth agenda. |
